Our memory jar workshop is one of our beloved collaborations with Gigi from Damchi Kimchi! This is a way to share our love of ceramics and fermentation throughout the year, at any moment - so this pansy pack is our two passions combined into one DIY kit!
The pack offers a two-part experience for you: firstly drawing and decorating your jar with the glazes. Bring it back to pansy, we’ll look after the firing for you (it’ll be ready for collection within 1-2 weeks)
Once you’ve got your shiny beautiful pot, it’s time to get your hands dirty (don’t worry, we included some gloves) to prepare your favourite vegetables with a ready-to-go kimchi paste. Pop your veggies in your jar, and wait 3 days for some delicious spicy bubbly magic to happen, and enjoy! Eets makkelijk!
The pack includes:
✿ One ready-to-glaze fermentation pot (holds 500grams) which measures approximately 13cm tall including the lid. You can add extra objects here if you’d like!
✿ One bag of Damchi Kimchi starter paste (250grams) which can make 800grams of kimchi
✿ Five special mini pots of our kimichi-inspired collection of glaze colours (feel free to add extra colours too!)
✹ garlic kiss (light yellow)
✹ onggi pot (dark brown)
✹ happy scallions (forest green)
✹ gochugaru (bright orangey red)
✹ chunky sea salt (cream speckle)
✿ Four glazing brushes with soft bristles and a pencil to draw your designs
✿ An illustrated how-to guide to give you a bunch of tips and tricks to create your masterpiece
