⚠️ czaar peterstraat roadworks ⚠️

a note on the construction

czaar peterstraat is getting a very funky fresh makeover, but she’s been in chaotic construction for several months now, which will last until late spring 2026.

currently our shop isn’t accessible by any kind of public transport, car, or biking. (only walking + scooching through a narrow pathway) i live and work in this neighbourhood which makes it extra frustrating as i feel cut off from the rest of the city. i’m hopeful that when we’re fully back to regular operations, things will be so much better!

i was feeling sad, wet, and soggy at the end of last year; planning ahead feels difficult. i feel really bad about asking you to come all this way without the regular access of even our bike lanes so for now, there’s not too much planned at pansy (except for our workshops) as we stay open in our regular hours without many visitors our events and exhibitions will take a short pause. it gives me a bit of breathing time (as 2025 was packed back-to-back with events!) to make my own work, and start planning for the second half of 2026.

once the construction is all finished, we’ll celebrate with a big block party (they’ve erected a tram stop right in front of our shop - yay!)
